Privacy Policy

Overview

All Squared (“we,” “us”) is a golf scoring and social app for tracking rounds, side games, and settlements with friends. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

  • Account information: name, email, profile photo, home golf club, handicap index, and equipment (bag) you choose to add.
  • Round data: scores, courses played, dates, hole-by- hole stats, side-game outcomes, and settlement amounts.
  • Social data: friend connections, group memberships, comments, reactions, and direct messages you send within the app.
  • Device data: minimal technical info from your browser or device (operating system, app version, crash reports) to keep the service working.
  • Optional payment handles: Venmo username, used only to deep-link settle-up requests. We do not process payments.

How we use your data

  • To run the core scoring, side-game, and settle-up features.
  • To compute and display your handicap, statistics, and trends.
  • To show your activity to friends you’ve connected with.
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, invites).
  • To diagnose bugs and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertisements.

Third-party services we use

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — optional account creation methods.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics.
  • Giphy — GIF picker in direct messages (Giphy may log GIF views).

Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, comments, and direct messages. Rounds, scores, and settlement history you shared with a group are kept with your identity removed, so your group’s shared records stay intact. Some operational backups may persist for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

Your choices

  • Delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your profile and personal messages; round and settlement history you shared with a group is de-identified and retained.
  • Export your data — email support@forelive.app and we will send you a copy of your account data.
  • Opt out of analytics by enabling Do Not Track or blocking PostHog in your browser; we honor either signal.

Children

All Squared is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
